The two-year project has been run in partnership with Episcopal Relief & Development, the overseas development agency of the U.S.-based Episcopal Church. Growing rice has been the main activity for people living along side Lake Tanganyika for many years; but the lack of improved techniques and seeds has caused low production and farmers could not expect to gain much from it.Read the entire article here. Nico Hulkenberg is on standby if Perez is not fit.Perez became the first Formula One driver to test positive for coronavirus, and it had been unclear whether he would be available to drive after the period of quarantine was extended to 10 days. But Perez’s Racing Point team are using the date of his first inconclusive test, which took place last Wednesday, 24 hours before the change from seven to 10 days was enforced.Public Health England have confirmed that Sergio Perez’s period of quarantine has been completed, Racing Point said in a statement on Thursday. The team expects to make a decision on who is driving alongside Lance later today or first thing tomorrow morning. There are two consecutive weekends of racing at Silverstone as Formula One tries to pack in races following the pandemic-delayed start to the season.Image credits: AP SUBSCRIBE TO US WE RECOMMEND LIVE TV 1 month ago Hamilton sets new track record and takes pole at British GP in Silverstone 1 month ago Bottas leads 3rd practice for British GP ahead of qualifyinglast_img read more

Former Patriots RB Antowain Smith endorses Julian Edelman’s Hall of Fame case

first_img Super Bowl 53: Rams coach Sean McVay explains RB Todd Gurley’s limited role Boston. You are insane. #LFG pic.twitter.com/JuMtknSNQY— Julian Edelman (@Edelman11) February 5, 2019″Julian is one of the best slot receivers to play the game,” Smith, 46, told Omnisport. “He’s not that fast, not that big… but he makes plays.”Everyone knows who Brady is going to go to on third down. It’s a security play. You know it but you can’t do anything about it because he reads the defense so well.”Hall of Fame… it’s a possibility. If he keeps going the way he’s going, why not? The numbers are there.”CHAMPS! #LFG pic.twitter.com/RG9BFo8Kjf— Julian Edelman (@Edelman11) February 4, 2019Edelman — who missed the start of the season while serving a four-game suspension for violating the NFL’s performance-enhancing substance policy — had a game-high 10 catches for 141 yards and threw in an 8-yard run on a sweep against the Rams.He was the seventh different player with 10-plus catches and 100-plus receiving yards in a Super Bowl, and the fourth different Patriot. With three championship rings and a Super Bowl MVP award to match, Julian Edelman’s Hall of Fame case was backed by former Patriots running back Antowain Smith.Edelman led the way as the Patriots defeated the Rams 13-3 in Super Bowl 53 — Sunday’s performance earning him MVP honors in Atlanta. The 32-year-old receiver has never been selected to the Pro Bowl but he now has three titles to go with the Super Bowl MVP.As debate surrounded post-season specialist Edelman and his candidacy, two-time Super Bowl champion Smith — who was alongside Tom Brady when the star quarterback won his first championship in 2002 — heaped praise on the New England veteran.
