The owners, a young couple with two children have just moved into a house built in the 1960s, located in Neuilly Plaisance, Paris area. Feeling cramped into this tiny space, this couple wanted to expand the ground-floor by integrating all the living areas including the living room, dining room, kitchen, and sanitary facilities.Save this picture!© Antoine SéguinSave this picture!Site PlanSave this picture!© Antoine SéguinThe challenge for the architect was to create additional living space while respecting the urbanism restrictions like the continuity of the frontal of the house.Save this picture!© Antoine SéguinSave this picture!© Antoine SéguinThe property is located in an area with flooding risk. That’s why the project is treated as an inhabited jetty. This jetty with an elevation of 30cm over the floor consisting of two parts, one covered as an extension of the house and one outdoor area. This composition of the living room in two parts allows the covered space, during the sunny days, to be extended onto the terrace thanks to a large sliding glass door.Save this picture!© Antoine SéguinProject gallerySee allShow lessThe Life and Death of the Tiny Home TrendArticlesJeff Durkin on His Transition From Architecture Design to FilmmakingInterviews Share “COPY” Neui House Extension / Benoit Rotteleur Architecte France Architects: Benoit Rotteleur Architecte Area Area of this architecture project Lead Architects: Save this picture!© Antoine Séguin+ 13Curated by Paula Pintos Share CopyAbout this officeBenoit Rotteleur ArchitecteOfficeFollow#TagsProjectsBuilt ProjectsSelected ProjectsResidential ArchitectureHousesRefurbishmentExtensionParisOn FacebookNeuilly-PlaisanceFrancePublished on September 13, 2020Cite: “Neui House Extension / Benoit Rotteleur Architecte” 13 Sep 2020. The Beach Boys Announce Summer Tour

first_imgThe touring entity that is legally capable of calling itself The Beach Boys will embark on a summer tour later this year. Led by original Beach Boys vocalist Mike Love, the group will make its way across much of the United States—as well as parts of the UK and Ireland—between May and September. In addition to Love, the current Beach Boys lineup also includes Bruce Johnston (who joined the band in 1965) as well as Tim Bonhomme, John Cowsill, Jeffrey Foskett, Keith Hubacher, Christian Love, and Scott Totten. The surviving members of the Beach Boys’ classic lineup—Love, Brian Wilson, and Al Jardine—last performed together during the band’s 50th anniversary tour in 2012 (which also featured Johnston and early member David Marks). In related news, today also marks the launch of the new Beach Boys station on Sirius XM. Dubbed Good Vibrations, the station can now be found on channel 24.This is an extraordinary recognition for our band,” Love reportedly said in an official statement. “We are grateful to everyone involved with A Capitol Fourth for this beautiful honor. The Beach Boys have been synonymous with 4th of July and performing on the West Lawn for decades now. It is an enormous source of pride. This summer our music will be filling amphitheaters and music festivals, and amplified by our friends at Sirius XM. It’s going to be a summer to remember.”Ticketing information for the upcoming The Beach Boys tour can found via the band’s website. The Beach Boys Tour Dates:May 25 Springfield, IL – Springfield Sliders StadiumMay 26 Herrin, IL – HerrinFesta ItalianaJune 1 Omaha, NE – Holland Performing Arts CenterJune 2 Omaha, NE – Holland Performing Arts CenterJune 3 Omaha, NE – Holland Performing Arts CenterJune 5 Grand Forks, ND – Chester Fritz AuditoriumJune 6 Sioux Falls, SD – Mary W.
